Tamaurice Nigel "Tee" Martin (born July 25, 1978) is an American football coach and former quarterback. He is currently the quarterbacks coach for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the Ravens, he worked as an assistant coach at several universities and high schools.
Martin played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers. He led his team to a national championship in 1998. The Pittsburgh Steelers then picked him in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL draft. During his six years as a player, Martin played in the NFL and the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Oakland Raiders.

Playing Career Highlights
College Football Success
Tee Martin played college football at the University of Tennessee from 1996 to 1999. He was a backup quarterback for his first two years. In 1998, as a junior, Martin led the 1998 Tennessee Volunteers football team to an amazing 13–0 season. They won the Fiesta Bowl against Florida State. This victory gave the school its first NCAA Division I-A national football championship since 1951.
During the 1998 season, Martin set a new record for consecutive completions. He completed 23 passes in a row against South Carolina. When combined with a pass from the previous game, he set a record of 24 straight completions. This was a big achievement in college football.
In 1999, Martin led the Volunteers to another major bowl game. They played in the Fiesta Bowl again, but lost to Nebraska. Over his two years as a starting quarterback, Tennessee had a strong record against other big conference teams.
Professional Football Journey
The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Tee Martin in 2000. He was the 163rd player chosen in the draft. Martin also played one season in NFL Europe for the Rhein Fire. In 2002, he helped the Rhein Fire reach the World Bowl, but they lost.
After four seasons in the NFL, Martin finished his playing career in the Canadian Football League. He played as a quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2004 and 2005.

After his playing days, Tee Martin became a football coach. He has worked with many teams at different levels.
Early Coaching Roles
Martin started coaching in 2006 at Morehouse College. He was the passing game coordinator there. In 2007, he coached at North Cobb High School as a passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach. The next year, 2008, he moved to North Atlanta High School. There, he was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
College Coaching Positions
In 2009, Martin became the quarterbacks coach for the University of New Mexico. The following year, 2010, he joined the University of Kentucky as the wide receivers coach. He also became the passing game coordinator in 2010.
In 2012, Martin was hired by the University of Southern California as their wide receivers coach. He was promoted to offensive coordinator for the Trojans in 2015. He stayed at USC until 2018.
In 2019, Martin returned to his old college, the University of Tennessee. He worked as the assistant head coach and wide receivers coach for his alma mater.
Coaching in the NFL
Tee Martin joined the Baltimore Ravens in 2021. He started as their wide receivers coach. In 2023, he was promoted to the role of quarterbacks coach for the Ravens.
Personal Life and Interests
Tee Martin was born and grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He is married to Toya Rodriguez, who is a recording artist known as Toya.
Martin has three children. His oldest son, Amari Rodgers, played wide receiver for the Houston Texans. Amari played college football at Clemson University. Martin's middle son, Kaden, is a talented athlete in both football and baseball. He plans to play baseball and walk onto the football team at the University of Miami. Martin's youngest son, Cannon, was born in 2012.
Outside of coaching, Martin owns a company called Playmakers Sports. This company helps with sports event planning and trains quarterbacks. He also works as a college football expert for a TV program. Martin helps coach at special camps for high school quarterbacks, helping young players improve their skills. In 2008, he started his own "Dual Threat" Quarterback Camp and Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.
