Terrence C. Carson (born November 19, 1958) is an American actor and singer. He is well-known for playing Kyle Barker on the TV show Living Single. He was also the first actor to voice Kratos in the God of War video game series. This was from 2005 to 2013. Terrence Carson has also voiced Mace Windu in many Star Wars cartoons and games.

Terrence C. Carson's Life and Career
Terrence C. Carson was born in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in Chicago with his mother. He was an only child. He went to the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. In 1981, he joined the Iota Phi Theta fraternity.
Becoming a TV Star
Carson is famous for his role as Kyle Barker. This was on the popular 1990s TV show Living Single. Kyle Barker was a main character for the first four seasons. His role became smaller later on. This was because of creative differences with the new writers.
Voice Acting Adventures
Terrence Carson is also a talented voice actor. He voiced Samuel and Mr. Carson in the animated series Clifford the Big Red Dog. He also voiced Mace Windu in Star Wars: Clone Wars. He continued this role in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
He also appeared in the movie Final Destination 2. In this film, he played a school teacher named Eugene Dix. He has lent his voice to many video game characters too. These include Guillo in Baten Kaitos Origins and Touchstone in Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror.
Voicing Kratos in God of War
Terrence Carson first voiced Kratos in the original God of War game. This game was for the PlayStation 2. His last time voicing Kratos was in God of War: Ascension for the PlayStation 3. He also did the motion capture for Kratos in that game. Motion capture is when an actor's movements are recorded and used for a computer character.
Kratos also appeared as a guest character in other games. Terrence Carson voiced him in Everybody's Golf 5 and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. He also voiced Kratos in Mortal Kombat and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Later, Christopher Judge took over the role of Kratos. This was partly because Terrence Carson was not tall enough for the new motion-capture needs.
Music and Other Projects
In 2002, Terrence Carson released a jazz and funk music CD. It was called Truth. In 2017, he was featured on the cover of STS Entertainment & Fashion magazine.
