Terrance Randolph Metcalf (born September 24, 1951) is a former American football player. He was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for five seasons. He also played one season with the Washington Redskins. Terry Metcalf also spent three seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for the Toronto Argonauts.
Metcalf was born and grew up in Seattle, Washington. He played college football at California State College, Long Beach. This college is located in Southern California. Terry Metcalf is the father of Eric Metcalf, who also became a famous NFL player. Eric was a wide receiver and kick returner.
