Three Kings, New Zealand

Three Kings (Māori: Terī Kingī) is a suburb in Auckland, New Zealand. It is built around the Te Tātua-a-Riukiuta volcano. This area is home to many different cultures, with about 3,500 people living there.

Three Kings is located six kilometres south of Auckland's city centre. It sits between the suburbs of Royal Oak and Mount Roskill.

The area has a small shopping centre called Three Kings Plaza. You can find a supermarket and other shops there. There is also a medical clinic for accidents and health needs. The Mount Roskill library is located above the Fickling Convention Centre. This centre hosts many community events for everyone to enjoy.

Te Tātua-a-Riukiuta, also known as Three Kings, was once a volcano with three main peaks. It also had several smaller peaks. Over time, most of these peaks were removed by quarrying. Now, only one large peak remains, often called Big King. This volcano was likely the most complex one in the Auckland volcanic field.
