Tilley is a small community called a hamlet. It is located in southern Alberta, Canada. You can find it about 22 kilometers (14 miles) southeast of Brooks. It is also about 78 kilometers (48 miles) northwest of Medicine Hat.

History of Tilley
Tilley was started in 1910. This was when the Canadian Pacific Railway was building its main train line. On May 9, 1940, Tilley officially became a village. Later, on August 31, 2013, it changed from a village back to a hamlet. Now, it is managed by the County of Newell.

In 2021, Statistics Canada counted 318 people living in Tilley. These people lived in 132 homes. This was a decrease from 364 people in 2016. Tilley covers an area of 0.69 square kilometers (0.27 square miles). This means about 461 people lived in each square kilometer.
The local government, the County of Newell, also counted people in 2020. They found 335 people living in Tilley. This was a bit less than the 405 people counted in 2007.
