Traylor Elizabeth Howard (born June 14, 1966) is an American actress. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows and movies.
From 2005 to 2009, Traylor played Natalie Teeger in the TV series Monk. She also starred in sitcoms like Boston Common (1996–1997) and Two Guys and a Girl (1998–2001). Her movie roles include Dirty Work (1998) and Me, Myself & Irene (2000).

Early Life and Education
Traylor Elizabeth Howard was born on June 14, 1966. She grew up in Orlando, Florida. Her parents are Peggy and Robert M. Howard, Jr. Traylor is the middle child, with an older brother and a younger brother.
She went to Lake Highland Preparatory School. As a teenager, she worked at SeaWorld Orlando. After high school, she studied at Florida State University. She earned a degree in communications, advertising, and English. After college, Traylor moved to Los Angeles, California. There, she worked for a public relations company and a greeting card company. She also performed in local theater plays.
Starting Her Acting Career
Traylor Howard began acting early in her life. While still in high school, she appeared in a commercial for Juicy Fruit chewing gum. In 1994, she was also featured in an AT&T Corporation television commercial.
Her first big TV role came in 1996. She joined the NBC sitcom Boston Common. She played Joy Byrnes, a smart student and the love interest of Anthony Clark's character. The show ran for two seasons.
From 1998 to 2001, Traylor starred in the ABC sitcom Two Guys and a Girl. She played Sharon Carter, the "girl" in the show. She acted alongside Ryan Reynolds and Richard Ruccolo.
Movie Roles
Traylor Howard also appeared in several movies. In 1998, she was the main female character in the film Dirty Work. She starred opposite Norm Macdonald.
In 2000, Traylor was in the movie Me, Myself & Irene. She played the bride of Jim Carrey's character. She also appeared in the music video for the Foo Fighters' song "Breakout". This song was also in the movie. That same year, she performed in a play called How I Fell in Love. This play was at the Williamstown Theater Festival in North Adams.
In 2005, Traylor starred in the movie Son of the Mask.

In 2002, Traylor Howard starred in a short-lived sitcom called Bram & Alice. She acted alongside Alfred Molina. That same year, she made a guest appearance in the third season of The West Wing.
Her most famous role was from 2005 to 2009. She starred with Tony Shalhoub in the USA Network detective series Monk. She played Natalie Teeger, the loyal assistant to the main character, Adrian Monk. After Monk ended, Traylor took a break from acting. She wanted to spend more time with her children.
Traylor returned to her role as Natalie Teeger in recent years. She appeared in a short episode called "Mr. Monk Shelters in Place" in 2020. She also reprised her role in the Monk follow-up movie, Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie, which was released in 2023.

Traylor Howard has been married three times. In 1991, she married Cameron B. Hall in Orlando, Florida. They later lived in Beverly Hills, California.
In 2003, she married Christian Navarro. They divorced in 2005.
Traylor has two sons. Her first son, Sabu, was born in 2006. In 2011, she married Jarel Portman. He is the son of architect John C. Portman Jr.. They have a son named Julien.
