Venom Energy is an American brand of energy drink. It is made by a company called Keurig Dr Pepper, which is located in Plano, Texas. One cool thing about Venom Energy is that it comes in a special, thick aluminum bottle.

Venom Energy first came out in 2002. Back then, it was in a regular drink container. In 2008, the company relaunched the drink with a new taste and the unique aluminum bottle you see today.

This energy drink was originally known as "Elements Energy." It was later given the name "Venom" when its sales started to slow down. Some of the original "Elements" flavors were kept, but they were renamed to fit the new "Venom" brand. For example, the "Black Mamba" flavor was originally called "Venom."

What's Inside Venom Energy?

Venom Energy drinks contain several ingredients that are common in energy drinks. These include taurine, glucuronolactone, and guarana. Other ingredients like L-carnitine, inositol, and maltodextrin are also added.

The amount of caffeine in one bottle of Venom Energy is about 162 milligrams. To give you an idea, this is roughly the same amount of caffeine you would find in a large 16-ounce cup of plain Starbucks coffee.

For a long time, Venom Energy was sold in aluminum bottles that held 16.9 fluid ounces. However, in 2012, the company made the bottles a bit smaller. They now hold 16 fluid ounces, which is a common size for many other energy drinks.

Venom Energy and Sports

In 2008, Venom Energy teamed up with the Arena Football League. This partnership helped promote the drink during the 2008 playoffs, which were shown on TV channels like ESPN and ABC.

Famous athletes have also helped promote Venom Energy. For example, Terrell Owens, a well-known football player, became a spokesman for the brand. The company also sponsors the Andretti Autosport IndyCar Series racing team, which includes driver Marco Andretti.

Venom Energy has also sponsored several hockey players from the NHL, including Pavel Datsyuk (from the Detroit Red Wings), Max Talbot (from the Pittsburgh Penguins), and Milan Lucic (from the Boston Bruins). Other sponsored athletes include Jordan Farmar from the New Jersey Nets (NBA) and Lance Berkman from the St. Louis Cardinals (MLB).
