Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour is a fun go-kart racing game that came out in 2000. It's based on the exciting rides and areas at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. In this game, players race on tracks that look like famous attractions, such as the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Space Mountain.
The main goal is to collect missing parts for the park's fireworks machine. This machine was accidentally broken by Chip 'n' Dale while they were busy gathering acorns. The game was created by Crystal Dynamics and published by Eidos Interactive. A special version for the Game Boy Color was made by Prolific Publishing.

Gameplay and Racing Fun
This game offers classic kart racing action. You'll compete in races that usually last three laps. The tracks are inspired by many popular Disney World attractions.
Explore Famous Disney Tracks
You can race through areas like:
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Blizzard Beach
- Dinosaur
- Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
- The Haunted Mansion
- The Jungle Cruise
- Tomorrowland Speedway
- Space Mountain
- Pirates of the Caribbean
Winning races in the story mode helps you find parts for the fireworks machine. If you finish the main story, you'll even unlock a track based on Splash Mountain!
Special Challenges
Some tracks offer different challenges. On tracks inspired by Test Track, Typhoon Lagoon, and Disney Studios Florida, your goal is to collect thirty coins. You need to find all these coins around the track within four minutes to complete the event.
Meet the Racers
Most of the characters you can play as were created just for this game. However, you can also race as familiar Disney friends like Chip 'n' Dale (wearing their Rescue Rangers outfits) and Jiminy Cricket.
Music from the Parks
The game's soundtrack features real music from the Disney attractions themselves. This helps make the game feel even more like you're at Walt Disney World!
Music Exceptions
There are a couple of small differences in the music:
- The music for the Space Mountain track comes from the Disneyland version of the ride, not the Walt Disney World one.
- The Rock 'n' Roller Coaster track does not feature music by Aerosmith, even though the real attraction does.
