Wardell is a small city located in Pemiscot County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, about 310 people lived there. In 2007, Wardell grew by adding the area known as North Wardell.

History of Wardell
Wardell has had its own post office since 1902. The city's name comes from R. L. Warren, an early resident. It also includes the word 'dell,' which means a small valley, because of a dell near where the town first started.
Geography of Wardell
Wardell is in the northern part of Pemiscot County. It is located where State Route A and State Route B meet. State Route A connects Wardell to Bragg City to the southwest and Interstate 55 to the east. State Route B connects Wardell to Homestown and Pascola to the south. The Little River also flows through the city.
According to the United States Census Bureau, Wardell covers a total area of about 0.28 square miles (0.73 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
