Wasco is located in Oregon and covers a total area of about 1 square mile (2.6 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
A special type of mineral is found near Wasco. It is a white, clay-based rock called Wascoite or Biggs jasper. It gets its name from the nearby town of Wasco.
