Wiltz (called Wolz in Luxembourgish) is a region in northwestern Luxembourg. It is known as a canton. The main town and capital of this canton is also called Wiltz.

A Brief History of Wiltz
The area of Wiltz has seen some changes over time. For example, on January 1, 2012, two smaller areas, Heiderscheid and Neunhausen, joined together with the area of Esch-sur-Sûre. This kind of joining is called a merge.
