Wu Chun (Chinese: 吳尊; pinyin: Wú Zūn; born October 10, 1979) is a famous singer, actor, and businessman from Brunei and Taiwan. He was part of a popular Taiwanese boy band called Fahrenheit. He joined the group in 2005 and left in 2011.
Wu Chun has starred in many TV shows. Some of these include Tokyo Juliet (2006), Hanazakarino Kimitachihe (2006), and Romantic Princess (2007). He has also appeared in movies like The Butterfly Lovers (2008). He is very popular on the Chinese social media site Sina Weibo.
In 2014, Wu Chun was on the TV show Dad is Back with his daughter. Later, he was in the Chinese drama Martial Universe in 2018. He also appeared on another reality TV show, Best Time, with his father. In 2020, he filmed Before Wedding in his home country of Brunei. This show was watched by many people in China. That same year, a wax figure of Wu Chun was put on display at Madame Tussauds in Shanghai. Since 2019, he has worked with Hugo Boss as a brand ambassador in Asia.
Wu Chun also cares about the environment. In 2020, he became an ocean protection ambassador for Merlin Entertainments Group China. He helps to protect marine life, especially Beluga whales. He was also named a Pangolins Protection Ambassador by the World Wildlife Fund. More recently, he has been in ads for brands like Dior and La Mer. In 2023, he became a representative for IQIYI during the Australian Open tennis tournament.

Early Life and Education
Wu Chun grew up in a wealthy family of Chinese background. His family came from Lieyu, Kinmen, Fujian. His father, Goh Kim Tian, is a real estate investor. His family also owns a car company and has close ties to the royal family in Brunei.
Wu Chun went to Chung Hwa Middle School in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. In 1997, he studied at Trinity College (University of Melbourne) in Australia. He then went to RMIT University in Melbourne. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with high honors. He also played for Brunei's National Basketball Team. Before he joined Fahrenheit, Wu Chun worked as a model. He is also the managing director of Fitness Zone, a health club owned by his family in Brunei.
Career Highlights
As a model, Wu Chun has been on the cover of many magazines. These include Esquire, Elle for Men, Men's Health Magazine, and Harper's BAZAAR Magazine.
Wu Chun owns several businesses in Brunei. These include Bake Culture, a bakery, and Fitness Zone, a large health club. He also owned The Energy Kitchen, a healthy restaurant, from 2014 to 2018. He also runs WoMen Hair Salon, which works with international celebrities. In China, he directs TV commercials for InterContinental Hotel. Wu Chun has many business deals and supports many charities.
He has won several awards for his business work. These include the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) Young Entrepreneur of The Year in 2008. In 2015, the King of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, gave him an Excellent Youth Award.
In 2014, he became a global ambassador for Royal Brunei Airlines. He also became a tourism ambassador for Taiwan. In 2016, Wu Chun became a goodwill ambassador for a charity concert. This concert helped children and athletes with special needs.
In 2018, he became the Goodwill Ambassador for Dementia Brunei. This group helps with early detection and prevention of Dementia. He also became an Ambassador for Disney China and Legoland. He said this was a special achievement because he loved Disney as a child. In 2018, he worked with many brands like Lab Series, Land Rover, Head and Shoulders, Safeguard, and Nutrilon.
In 2019, he won the Shanghai Television Festival award. He was named Best Breakthrough Artist for his role as a villain in Martial Universe. In the same year, he became Hugo Boss' Asian Brand Ambassador for their eyewear campaign.
Personal Life
Wu Chun lives in Brunei with his family. His uncle, Goh King Chin, is a member of the Legislative Council of Brunei. In 2019, it was shared that Wu Chun married his wife, Lin Liying, in 2004. He had previously said they married in 2009. Wu and Lin have two children. They had a wedding ceremony as part of a Chinese TV show, Before Wedding, in March 2020.
Wu Chun's mother passed away from cancer in 2002.
Helping Others
In Brunei, Wu Chun supports blood donation drives twice a year. He also helps with environmental campaigns and supports people who are struggling. In 2015 and 2016, he organized a women's run in Brunei called "She Runs". All the money raised went to the Children's Cancer Foundation.
Wu Chun also took a 10-hour road trip in China. He went from Qinghai to small villages to give medical supplies and sports equipment. His efforts helped raise $68,000 for Special Olympics Brunei Darussalam. In 2016, he was a goodwill ambassador for the Roots and Wings Charity Concert in Brunei. This concert raised about 43,000 BND for Special Olympics Brunei Darussalam and La vida Bhd.
