History of Wyoming, Iowa
Wyoming became an official city on October 21, 1873. It was named after Wyoming County, New York.

Wyoming is located at 42°3′33″N 91°0′18″W / 42.05917°N 91.00500°W. This means it is in the eastern part of Iowa.
