The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation (yoh-CHƏ-_-DEE-hee-_-win) is a Native American tribe officially recognized by the United States government. They are part of the Wintun people, specifically the Patwin people, who are also known as Southern Wintun. This tribe lives in Yolo County, California. They used to be called the Rumsey Indian Rancheria of Wintun Indians of California.

How the Tribe is Governed
The main office for the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation is in Brooks, California. The tribe is led by a council of five people who are chosen by a vote. This council helps run the tribe's services and businesses.

Their Land: The Rumsey Rancheria
The tribe's special land is called the Rumsey Rancheria. A ranchería is a type of reservation for Native American tribes. This land is in the Coast Range and is officially recognized by the government. It was set up in 1907 and is about 185 acres big.
Culture and Traditions
The Yocha Dehe Wintun people are Patwin. Their traditional lands were close to the Sacramento River valley. The Patwin language is part of a group of languages called Penutian.
In the past, the Patwin people got their food by fishing for king salmon, gathering acorns, hunting animals, and collecting wild vegetables.
How the Tribe Earns Money
The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation owns and runs the Cache Creek Casino Resort. This resort has a hotel, a spa, and a golf course. It also has several places to eat.
The tribe also has farms where they grow things like wine grapes and arbequina olives. They make and sell many of their products, such as olive oils, vinegar, and wine, under the brand name Seka Hills. They have two stores and tasting rooms in Yolo County. One is in Brooks and the other is in Clarksburg.
Education for the Community
The children living on the ranchería go to schools in the Esparto Unified School District.
