Yvon Landry Mvogo Nganoma (born 6 June 1994) is a professional football player. He plays as a goalkeeper for the French club Lorient. Yvon was born in Cameroon, but he plays for the Switzerland national team.

Yvon Mvogo's Football Journey
Yvon Mvogo was born in Yaoundé, Cameroon. He started his professional football career at a young age.
Playing for Clubs
Yvon Mvogo made his first professional appearance on 17 August 2013. This was in a Swiss Cup match against Veyrier. He played the whole game, and his team won 8-0.
In April 2017, it was announced that Mvogo would join Bundesliga club Leipzig. This German team was also going to play in the UEFA Champions League for the first time. He signed a four-year contract with them.
On 25 August 2020, Mvogo moved to PSV in the Netherlands. He joined them on a two-year loan deal. After his time at PSV, on 14 July 2022, he signed a two-year contract with Lorient in France.
Playing for Switzerland
Yvon Mvogo was first called up to the Switzerland senior national team in June 2015. This was for a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying match.
He was part of Switzerland's team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. This is a huge international football tournament. Yvon made his first appearance for the national team on 15 October 2018. This was against Iceland in a 2018–19 UEFA Nations League group match.
In May 2019, he was chosen for the 2019 UEFA Nations League Finals. Although he didn't play in the matches, his team finished fourth. In 2021, he was called up for the 2020 UEFA European Championship. In this tournament, the Swiss team surprised many by reaching the quarter-finals!
