The 1969–70 NHL season was the 53rd season of the National Hockey League (NHL). This was a big year for ice hockey! Twelve teams played 76 games each to see who was the best.
The Boston Bruins ended up winning the famous Stanley Cup. They beat the St. Louis Blues in the final series, winning all four games. It was an exciting time for hockey fans!

Stanley Cup Playoffs: The Road to the Championship
After the regular season, the best teams compete in the playoffs. This is a knockout tournament where teams play series of games. The team that wins four games in a series moves on, and the losing team is out. The final winner gets the Stanley Cup!
