2010 UEFA Futsal Championship facts for kids
The 2010 UEFA Futsal Championship was a big soccer tournament, but played indoors with a smaller ball! It was the sixth time this European Championship for national futsal teams was held. UEFA organized it.
The tournament took place in Hungary from January 19 to January 30, 2010. Games were played in two cities: Budapest at the Papp László Sportaréna and Debrecen at the Főnix Arena. For the first time ever, twelve teams competed in the final part of the championship!
In the exciting final match, Spain played against Portugal. Spain won the game 4–2. This victory meant Spain had won the championship five times in a row! They were really good.

How Teams Qualified
To get into the main tournament, many countries had to play in a qualifying round first. Thirty-eight nations tried to qualify! Hungary automatically got a spot because they were the host country.

The "Golden Boot" award is given to the player who scores the most goals in the tournament. In 2010, four players shared this award because they all scored the same number of goals!
