Aaron Matthew Moorehead, born on November 5, 1980, is an American football coach. He used to be a wide receiver player himself. Currently, he is the wide receivers coach for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League (NFL).

Before joining the Eagles, Aaron worked as an assistant coach at several universities. These include Vanderbilt University, Texas A&M University, Virginia Tech, Stanford University, and the University of New Mexico.

Aaron played college football as a wide receiver for Illinois. He then joined the Indianapolis Colts in 2003. He played his entire five-year professional career with the Colts, from 2003 to 2007. He was part of the team that won Super Bowl XLI against the Chicago Bears.

Early Life and High School Sports

Aaron Moorehead went to South Park Elementary school and Alan B. Shepard Jr. High. Both schools are in district 109. He later attended Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Illinois. There, he was a star athlete in both football and track.

In his final year of high school, Aaron competed in the state track meet. He finished fourth in the 110-meter High Hurdles event. His fastest time in this race was 14.06 seconds.

Playing in the NFL

Aaron Moorehead officially joined the Indianapolis Colts on May 5, 2003. During his time as a player, he caught 31 passes. These catches gained a total of 330 yards. He also scored one touchdown.

In the 2006 postseason, which are the playoff games, Aaron made 5 catches. These catches gained 41 yards. After the 2007 season, he became a free agent. This meant he could sign with any team he wanted.
