Ali Cook started his career on a TV show called The Jerry@Trick Show on Channel 5. He was noticed by TV producers and went on to write and star in seven of his own comedy and magic series. These shows appeared on Channel 4, Channel 5, and Sky1. His Channel 4 series Dirty Tricks was even nominated for a British Comedy Award.

Ali Cook in Films
Ali Cook played Sgt. Paul "Spud" McMellon in the 2014 film Kajaki. This movie won an award at the 2015 British Independent Film Awards and was nominated for a British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award.
He also starred in the 2018 film How To Fake A War. Other films he has been in include Twist for Sky Cinema, The Obscure Life of the Grand Duke of Corsica, Muscle, and In the Cloud for Sony Pictures. He also appeared in Once Upon a Time in London and the thriller Isolani.
In 2011, Ali Cook was an executive producer for the movie Dark Tide, which starred Halle Berry.
