Angelo Di Livio (born on July 26, 1966) is a former Italian footballer. He played as a midfielder or a wing-back. Di Livio played for many Italian clubs during his career. He became very well-known while playing for Juventus. With Juventus, he won several important titles in Italy and internationally. He also played for the Italian national team. He took part in two FIFA World Cups and two UEFA European Championships. He even reached the final of UEFA Euro 2000.

During his time as a player, people called him soldatino, which means "toy soldier". His teammate Roberto Baggio gave him this nickname. It was because Di Livio was not very tall and had a special way of running up and down the side of the field.

Angelo Di Livio's Club Career

Angelo Di Livio was born in Rome, Italy. He started his football journey with Roma in 1984. He didn't play any games for Roma in his first season. After that, he played for several other teams. These included Reggiana (1985–86), Nocerina (1986–87), Perugia (1987–89), and Padova (1989–93).

Success with Juventus

From 1993 to 1999, Di Livio played for Juventus. He was a very important player for the team. He was known for his endless running and great passes. During this time, Juventus was one of the best teams in football history. With Juventus, he won three Italian league titles, called scudetti. These were in 1995, 1997, and 1998.

He also won the UEFA Champions League in 1996. This is one of the biggest club competitions in Europe. Other trophies he won with Juventus include:

Di Livio showed how loyal he was by being the only player to stay with the team. He played through the lower divisions of Italian football. He helped the team climb back up to Serie A in 2004. He finally retired from playing after the 2004–05 season.

Di Livio played 40 games for the Italian national team. He represented Italy in several major tournaments:
