Avoca is a suburb located southwest of Bundaberg in Queensland, Australia. It is part of the Bundaberg Region. In 2021, about 4,912 people lived in Avoca.
Where is Avoca?
Avoca is next to the Burnett River on its north and west sides. To the east, you'll find the suburb of Millbank and the Isis Highway.
There's an island in the river called Tomato Island. It's about 85.8 hectares big and is part of Avoca. A company called Boral runs a quarry there. Most of the land in Avoca is used for homes. Some areas near the river are used for growing crops or for grazing animals.
