An early settler, Mary Wilson Montgomery, thought the Utah mountain looked like the one in Scotland.

A Unique Mountain View

Ben Lomond stands out along the Wasatch Front because it seems to run east and west. Most other mountains in the Wasatch Range appear to run north and south. This makes Ben Lomond quite special!
