A Look Back: Black Creek's History
In November 1861, some people asked for a new town called Black Creek to be created. They wanted it to be separate from the nearby town of Center.
The Outagamie County board agreed to this request. Black Creek officially became a town in March 1862. The first town leaders were chosen in April of that year.
