Where is Boronia Heights?
Boronia Heights is found to the west of another suburb called Park Ridge. It's about 27 kilometres away from the centre of Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland.
A Look Back in Time
Before it was known as Boronia Heights, this area had a different name. It was called the Logan Ridges until the early 1890s.
A big step for the community was when Boronia Heights State School opened its doors. This happened on 29 January 1990.
The area officially became a suburb in October 1991. It was named Boronia Heights after the very first group of houses built there.
