Brendale is found north of Brisbane, which is the capital city of Queensland. It's right next to Strathpine and sits along the South Pine River.

Brendale is located on the traditional lands of the Yugarabul Indigenous Australian people.
The name "Brendale" comes from a horse stud. This stud was set up by a property developer named William (Bill) Bowden in the early 1960s.
A golf course called Wantima Country Club first opened on February 14, 1969. It started with just 6 holes.
