About the Mojave Brickellbush
The Mojave brickellbush is a type of plant that lives for many years. It can grow up to 60 centimeters (about 24 inches) tall. This plant grows from a strong, woody base called a caudex.
What Does It Look Like?
The Mojave brickellbush has special groups of flowers called flower heads. These flower heads can appear one at a time or in small groups. Each flower head is usually cream-colored or a pale yellow-green. They have disc florets, which are the small tube-shaped flowers in the center of a sunflower. However, they do not have ray florets, which are the petal-like flowers you see on the outside of a sunflower.
