Broomhill is a lively area in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland. It's located north of the River Clyde. Broomhill is surrounded by other districts like Thornwood, Partick, Hyndland, Jordanhill, Scotstoun, and Victoria Park.
The main streets here are Crow Road and Broomhill Drive. Crow Road is a busy road that connects Broomhill to Partick in the south and Anniesland in the north.
Getting around Broomhill is easy! You can catch First Glasgow bus services 4 and 16 along Crow Road. There are also local "dial buses" on Broomhill Drive. If you prefer trains, the nearby stations are Hyndland and Jordanhill.

Broomhill Primary School
Broomhill Primary School used to have two buildings. One was for younger children, and the other for older students. In 2018, a brand new, modern building opened for the whole school. It even has an all-weather sports pitch! The old annex building was closed and taken down in late 2019.

Army and Cadet Forces
Broomhill is home to a base for the Royal Artillery, which is part of the British Army. This base on Crow Road is where the 207 (City of Glasgow) Battery Headquarters and C Troop are located. It has drill halls, classrooms, and other facilities.
The base is also shared with the Army Cadet Force, which is a youth organization for 12 to 17-year-olds. It's one of the most popular cadet groups in Scotland.
Additionally, 62 (2nd Glasgow) Squadron of the Air Training Corps is based here. This is a large and successful squadron for young people interested in aviation.
Housing in Broomhill
