Where is Burpengary East?
Burpengary East is bordered by the Bruce Highway on its western side. The Caboolture River forms its north-eastern boundary. This river flows into Deception Bay. Little Burpengary Creek marks the southern edge. Another creek, Burpengary Creek, also flows through the suburb. It eventually empties into Deception Bay.
Most of Burpengary East is used for homes. You can find both smaller suburban blocks and larger country-style blocks. Land near the creeks and rivers is often used for grazing animals. Some areas are undeveloped marshlands.
There is a special nature area called Deception Bay Conservation Park. It is located in the south-east part of the suburb.
