Cadell is a small town and area in South Australia. It's located near the north-western edge of the Riverland region. You can find it on a big bend of the Murray River. The town is named after Captain Francis Cadell. He was an important explorer who used steam-powered boats on the Murray River. The town of Cadell was planned in 1919 and officially named in 1920.
