Chevrillon Lake is a freshwater lake in Quebec, Canada. It is located in the southern part of the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region. The Chibougamau River flows right through it.
This lake is found across four townships: Vienna, Barlow, Blaiklock, and McKenzie. The main activity around the lake is forestry, which means cutting down trees for wood. Tourism is also important, with people visiting for fun activities.
You can reach the area around Chevrillon Lake by using a forest road called R1029. This road connects to Route 113, which links the towns of Lebel-sur-Quévillon and Chibougamau.
The lake's surface usually freezes over from early November until mid-May. It's generally safe to travel on the ice from mid-November to mid-April.

About Chevrillon Lake
Chevrillon Lake has a unique shape, like a big "V". The Chibougamau River flows through this bend. The lake is about 12.9 kilometres (8.0 mi) long and 3.2 kilometres (2.0 mi) wide at its widest point. It sits at an elevation of 363 metres (1,191 ft) above sea level.
There is a large island in the middle of the lake, about 7.3 kilometres (4.5 mi) long. The Chibougamau River flows into Chevrillon Lake after coming from Chibougamau Lake. It then continues north before turning south again.
The lake's water eventually flows out from a bay on its western side. This area has many small islands.
