Christopher Livingstone Eubank Jr. (born 18 September 1989) is a British professional boxer. He is known for his exciting fighting style and for being the son of famous boxer Chris Eubank Sr.
Chris Eubank Jr. has won several important boxing titles. He has held the International Boxing Organization (IBO) middleweight title since 2024. Before that, he held the World Boxing Association (WBA) interim middleweight title twice. He also held the IBO super-middleweight title twice. In 2016, he won the British middleweight title.

Early Life and Family
Chris Eubank Jr. was born in Hove, East Sussex, England. His father is the famous boxer Chris Eubank, and his mother is Karron Suzanne Stephen-Martin. Chris Jr. went to schools like Brighton College and Shoreham College. He also spent two years at Spring Valley High School in Las Vegas, USA.
When he was 16, Chris Jr. and his brother Sebastian moved to the United States. They lived with a guardian to help them get dual citizenship. This was meant to help them with their sports careers. Chris Jr. also appeared with his father in a TV show called At Home with the Eubanks.
Amateur Boxing Career
Chris Eubank Jr. started his amateur boxing journey in 2007. He quickly showed his talent. After winning his sixth amateur fight, he became the Amateur Golden Gloves Champion for Nevada in his weight class (165 pounds).
He continued to win, and after his eighth amateur fight, he became the Amateur Golden Glove Champion for the Western States of the United States. Chris Jr. finished his amateur career with a very good record of 24 wins and only 2 losses.
Professional Boxing Career
Chris Eubank Jr. became a professional boxer in 2011. He was guided by his father and trainer Ronnie Davies.
Middleweight Division
Early Fights
For the first three years of his professional career, Chris Eubank Jr. had an amazing record. He won all 18 of his fights, with 13 of those wins coming by knockout. This showed how powerful his punches were.
In 2014, he signed a deal to have his fights shown on BoxNation. His first fight with them was at the York Hall in London, where he won by stopping his opponent, Alistair Warren. He continued to win fights, often by knockout, showing his strength and skill. He once said, "I'm the next generation. When I connect with these guys I'm taking them out."
First Loss: Eubank vs. Saunders
On 29 November 2014, Chris Eubank Jr. faced Billy Joe Saunders. This was a big fight for the British, Commonwealth, and European titles. Eubank Jr. lost this fight by a split decision, which means the judges had different opinions, but most of them thought Saunders won. This was Eubank Jr.'s first loss in his professional career. Saunders controlled the early rounds, and even though Eubank Jr. fought back strongly later, it wasn't enough to win.
Winning an Interim Title
After his first loss, Eubank Jr. fought Dmitry Chudinov on 28 February 2015. He won this fight by a technical knockout (TKO) in the twelfth round. With this victory, he won the WBA interim middleweight title. An interim title means he was a top contender for the main title.
Defending the Interim Title
On 24 October 2015, Eubank Jr. defended his WBA interim middleweight title against Tony Jeter. He won this fight quickly, stopping Jeter in the second round.
Big Fights and British Title
On 12 December 2015, Eubank Jr. fought Gary O'Sullivan. This was an important fight to decide who would challenge for the WBA middleweight championship. Eubank Jr. won when O'Sullivan's corner stopped the fight after the seventh round.
In February 2016, Eubank Jr. fought Nick Blackwell for the British middleweight title. Eubank Jr. dominated the fight. The referee stopped the fight in the tenth round, giving Eubank Jr. the win by TKO. Blackwell had to go to the hospital after the fight and later retired from boxing.
After winning the British title, Eubank Jr. defended it against Tom Doran on 25 June 2016. He won by TKO in the fourth round, keeping his title.
Moving to Super-Middleweight
Winning the IBO Title
On 4 February 2017, Chris Eubank Jr. moved up a weight class to super-middleweight. He fought Renold Quinlan for the IBO super-middleweight title. Eubank Jr. won the fight by TKO in the tenth round, becoming a world champion in a new weight division. He showed his speed and power throughout the fight.
Defending Against Abraham
On 15 July 2017, Eubank Jr. defended his IBO super-middleweight title against former world champion Arthur Abraham. Eubank Jr. won the fight by a unanimous decision, meaning all the judges agreed he was the clear winner. He landed many strong punches and controlled the fight for all twelve rounds.
World Boxing Super Series
Chris Eubank Jr. joined the World Boxing Super Series, a tournament for top boxers.
- Eubank vs. Yıldırım: In the quarter-finals on 7 October 2017, Eubank Jr. faced undefeated Avni Yıldırım. Eubank Jr. won impressively by knockout in the third round, showing his power and speed. This win moved him to the semi-finals.
- Eubank vs. Groves: On 17 February 2018, Eubank Jr. fought George Groves in the semi-finals. This was a highly anticipated fight. Groves won the fight by a unanimous decision after twelve rounds. Eubank Jr. received a cut above his eye during the fight.
Winning Back the IBO Title
On 23 February 2019, Chris Eubank Jr. fought James DeGale for the vacant IBO super-middleweight title. This was a big rivalry fight. Eubank Jr. won by a unanimous decision after knocking DeGale down twice during the fight. He won the IBO super-middleweight title for the second time.
Return to Middleweight
Eubank vs. Korobov
In December 2019, Eubank Jr. returned to the middleweight division. He fought Matt Korobov for the vacant WBA interim middleweight title. The fight ended quickly in the second round when Korobov suffered a shoulder injury, giving Eubank Jr. a TKO win.
Eubank vs. Morrison
After a break, Eubank Jr. returned to the ring on 1 May 2021, fighting Marcus Morrison. He won this fight by a unanimous decision after ten rounds. He later said he could have ended the fight earlier but wanted to get more rounds in and practice what his new trainer, Roy Jones Jr., had taught him.
Eubank vs. Awdijan
On 16 October 2021, Eubank Jr. fought Wanik Awdijan. Eubank Jr. won the fight when Awdijan's corner stopped the fight after the fifth round. It was thought Awdijan might have broken a rib from a body shot.
Eubank vs. Williams
On 5 February 2022, Eubank Jr. faced Welsh boxer Liam Williams in a highly anticipated fight. Eubank Jr. put on a dominant performance, knocking Williams down four times during the fight. He won by a wide unanimous decision. After the fight, Eubank Jr. said he intentionally kept Williams in the fight to "punish" him for his comments before the match.
Eubank vs. Smith
On 21 January 2023, Eubank Jr. fought Liam Smith. Smith won the fight by knockout in the fourth round. Eubank Jr. was knocked down twice in that round before the referee stopped the fight.
Eubank vs. Smith II (Rematch)
Eubank Jr. activated his rematch clause, and the second fight against Liam Smith took place on 2 September 2023. For this fight, Eubank Jr. had a new trainer, Brian "Bomac" McIntyre. Eubank Jr. won the rematch by TKO in the tenth round, getting his revenge. He knocked Smith down twice and then finished the fight with a series of punches.
Signing with Boxxer
In July 2024, it was announced that Chris Eubank Jr. signed a new deal with Boxxer, a boxing promotion company. This means he will have more big fights in the future.
Eubank vs. Benn
On 26 April 2025, Chris Eubank Jr. fought Conor Benn at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. This fight was a big event because their fathers, Chris Eubank Sr. and Nigel Benn, had a famous rivalry in the 1990s.
Eubank Jr. won the dramatic 12-round fight by unanimous decision. Benn started strong, but Eubank Jr. showed great stamina and skill, landing more punches throughout the fight. After the win, Eubank Jr. spoke about how special it was to continue the family legacy.
