Clive Russell (born 7 December 1945) is a British actor. He is known for playing many different characters. You might know him as Chief Inspector Frederick Abberline in Ripper Street. He also played Lord Lovat in Outlander. A big role for him was Brynden Tully in the HBO series Game of Thrones.
Clive Russell has also been in Scottish TV shows like Still Game. He appeared in the teen drama Hollyoaks as Billy Brodie. He was also in the crime show Cracker. Recently, he voiced Davey Rennick in the video game Still Wakes the Deep.
