Courtney Conlogue (born August 25, 1992) is an American professional surfer. She was born in Santa Ana, California. Courtney started surfing when she was just 4 years old!

When she was 11, in 2004, Courtney became the youngest person ever chosen for the USA Junior Surf Team. She placed 11th in the 2005 ISA World Junior Surfing Championships. In 2009, at the ISA World Surfing Games in Costa Rica, Courtney won a gold medal for herself and helped her team win gold too.

By the time she was 14, she had already won a surfing gold medal at the X Games as part of the U.S.A. Team. When she was 16, she won a huge competition called the Hurley U.S. Open of Surfing. This event was held at her home beach in Huntington Beach, California. She won the US Open of Surfing again in 2018.

Overcoming Challenges

In 2014, Courtney had a serious ankle injury while training in Australia. She had to miss several big contests, including the Rip Curl Pro and the US Open of Surfing. Even after this setback, she showed amazing strength. She went on to be ranked No. 2 in the World Surf League for two years in a row!

In 2019, Courtney faced more challenges when she had several head injuries. This meant she had to withdraw from the last event of the season. The 2020 surfing season was then canceled because of Covid. Courtney worked incredibly hard with physical therapy to recover and return to surfing for the 2021 season. Her dedication helped her get back to the sport she loves.
