Carn Dearg is a tall mountain in the beautiful Grampian Mountains of Scotland. It stands 941 meters (about 3,087 feet) high. This makes it almost a kilometer tall! It is located in a very quiet area, far from towns and roads.
Carn Dearg sits on the edge of two Scottish regions: Highland and Perthshire. It is also found to the east of a large, wild area called Rannoch Moor.
