A van is a type of vehicle that's bigger than a regular car. Vans are super useful because they can carry either stuff (like packages or tools) or lots of people.
Some vans, called panel vans, are designed to carry goods. They usually have a big space in the back with no side windows. This makes them perfect for deliveries or moving things around. Other vans are made to carry people and are often called minibuses. These can carry many passengers, sometimes up to 15!
A smaller type of van is called a minivan. Minivans are usually designed to carry up to seven people, making them popular for families.

Driving a Van
For most vans, you can drive them with the same driver's license you use for an ordinary car. However, if a van is very heavy or extra large, you might need a special truck license. Always check the rules in your area!
Minivans Today
Even though some people are choosing crossover vehicles instead, minivans are still popular for families. They offer lots of space and are great for road trips or carpooling. Two of the most popular minivans you might see are the Toyota Sienna and the Honda Odyssey.
