Daniel Edward Stein (born 11 April 1977), known as DJ Fresh, is an English DJ and music producer. He is famous for his electronic dance music. He was a key member of the drum and bass group Bad Company. He also runs the music label Breakbeat Kaos with Adam F.
DJ Fresh has released many popular songs. These include "Louder" and "Hot Right Now". These songs were the first dubstep and drum and bass songs to reach number one in the UK. He has sold 2.8 million records and had two number one singles. He also has eight other songs in the top 10. His YouTube channel has over 157 million plays.

Daniel Edward Stein, known as DJ Fresh, started making music in 1996. He is known for his energetic drum and bass and dubstep tracks. He often works with other singers and artists. His music is popular in clubs and on radio stations around the world.
Early Music Days

In 1998, when DJ Fresh was just 21, he helped start the record label BC Recordings. He also helped create the website Dogs on Acid. His group Bad Company released a song called "The Nine." This song was later voted the best drum & bass track ever by Knowledge Magazine readers.
In 2002, Fresh began his solo career again. He started a label called Breakbeat Punk. This label later joined with Adam F's Kaos Recordings to become Breakbeat Kaos in 2003. In 2006, he released his first solo album, Escape from Planet Monday.
Big Hits and Albums
In 2010, DJ Fresh released his song "Gold Dust". It became his first top 40 hit in the UK and Ireland. Later that year, he released his second album, Kryptonite. This album reached number 4 on the UK Dance Chart.
His song "Louder" came out in 2011. It was used in a TV ad for Lucozade. This song became the first ever dubstep song to reach number one on the UK Singles Chart.
In 2012, his song "Hot Right Now" with Rita Ora became his second number one hit in the UK. It was also the first drum and bass song to hit number one. He then released "The Power" with rapper Dizzee Rascal. His album Nextlevelism came out in October 2012. It included many of his hit songs.

DJ Fresh continued to release popular songs. In 2013, he teamed up with Diplo for "Earthquake". This song reached number four on the UK Singles Chart. He also collaborated with Jay Fay and Ms. Dynamite on "Dibby Dibby Sound".
Other notable songs include "Make U Bounce" with TC and "Flashlight" with Ellie Goulding. In 2015, he released "Gravity" featuring Ella Eyre. He also worked with Adam F on "Believer". New Passions
After a health challenge in 2017, DJ Fresh decided to focus on another passion. He now works as a software engineer in Oxfordshire, England. He uses his skills in machine learning, which is a type of computer science.
