Daniel Kajmakoski (born on October 17, 1983) is a singer and songwriter from North Macedonia. He became famous after winning the first season of a TV show called X Factor Adria.
In 2015, Daniel represented his country, North Macedonia, at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, Austria. He sang the song "Autumn Leaves" after winning the Skopje Festival 2014.

Early Life and Music Journey
Daniel Kajmakoski was born in Struga, which was part of Yugoslavia at the time, on October 17, 1983. When he was just 7 years old, his family moved to Vienna, Austria. Daniel has two brothers, Dalibor and Filip.
Daniel started taking part in music competitions when he was 17. In 2009, he performed in North Macedonia for the first time at the Ohrid Fest. He sang a song he wrote himself called "Nezhna ko princeza." He also joined a Bulgarian TV show called "Pej S'men." Even when he worked a regular job in Vienna, he always kept music as a big part of his life. In 2011, he wrote a very popular song called "Ne se vrajkas" for another singer, Karolina Goceva.
Winning X Factor Adria
In 2013, Daniel tried out for the first season of X Factor Adria. This is a big singing competition where people try to impress judges and win votes from the public. He sang "Red" by Daniel Merriweather at his first audition and everyone was very impressed.
Daniel worked hard and eventually won the entire show on March 23, 2014! After his big win, he released his first song that summer. It was called "Skopje-Beograd" and was a duet with Željko Joksimović, who was one of the judges on X Factor. Željko Joksimović is also a famous singer who came third in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012.

Representing North Macedonia at Eurovision
After winning X Factor Adria, Daniel Kajmakoski was chosen to represent North Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. This huge music competition was held in Vienna, Austria, that year.
Daniel won the chance to go to Eurovision by winning the Skopje Festival 2014. He sang his song "Lisja esenski" (which means "Autumn Leaves"). He placed second with the international judges but got the most votes from the public, which helped him win the festival.
At Eurovision, his song received 28 points. He finished 15th (second to last) in the semi-final, which meant he did not make it to the Grand Final. This was the third time in a row that North Macedonia did not qualify for the final round.
In 2016, Daniel won another TV show called Tvoje lice zvuči poznato (which means Your Face Sounds Familiar) in Serbia. On this show, contestants impersonate famous singers. Daniel performed as many different artists, including Rammstein, Gibonni, Karolina Gočeva, and Prince. He even impersonated Måns Zelmerlöw, who won Eurovision in 2015!
