Day Township is a community located in Montcalm County, in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a type of local government area called a civil township.
In 2020, about 1,141 people lived in Day Township. A famous place here is the Mid Michigan Motorplex, which is a racetrack. It used to be called the Central Michigan Dragway.

McBride: A Village with History
- McBride is a small village in Day Township. You can find it near the crossing of county roads 530 and 571.
- The village has its own post office. It uses the ZIP code 48852. This post office provides P.O. box services for the people living in McBride.
Westville: A Former Community
- Westville is an area on the western edge of the township. It is about 2 miles (3.2 km) west of McBride. It is also about 4 miles (6.4 km) north of Stanton.
- A post office opened here on May 2, 1872. Eli M. Mallet was the first postmaster.
- Daniel West planned and named the community "Westville." The post office closed on October 31, 1907.
Stanton: A Nearby City
- The city of Stanton is right next to the southwest corner of Day Township. It is the main town for Montcalm County.
