Dominic Simon "Dom" Wood, born on January 3, 1978, is a famous English entertainer, magician, TV presenter, and DJ. He is most recognized as one half of the popular duo "Dick and Dom," alongside Richard "Dick" McCourt. Together, they have won two British Academy Children's Awards for their shows Dick & Dom in da Bungalow and Absolute Genius with Dick and Dom.

Dominic Wood's Career
Early TV Work
Dom Wood started his TV journey as a child. He was part of the National Youth Music Theatre, which helped him get his first TV role. This was on CBBC's Friday Zone in 1996. In 1998, he became a presenter for CBBC. This is where he first met Richard McCourt. They soon became known as "Dick and Dom." They worked together on CBBC until 2018, creating many fun shows.
Radio Shows
From October 2007 to September 2008, Dom and Dick hosted a Sunday morning show on BBC Radio 1. They were on air from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. They later left this show because they had many TV projects. The duo then became hosts on Virgin Radio UK. They presented shows on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Other Projects
Dom Wood has also worked on his own. He presented The Animal Magic Show from 1998 to 2001. In 1999, he hosted the CITV game show Jungle Run. He also presented Brainiac's Test Tube Baby in 2006. This show was a companion to Brainiac: Science Abuse. In 2007, he was on Comic Relief Does Fame Academy for BBC Three. He was also the narrator for the Sky One reality show Showboaters in 2011. More recently, in 2021, Dom started his own DIY channel on TikTok. This channel has become very popular, gaining over 200,000 followers.
Magic Skills
Dom Wood was once the youngest member of The Magic Circle, a famous group for magicians. However, he was later asked to leave. This happened because of his show Dick & Dom in da Bungalow. On the show, he would sometimes perform and explain magic tricks. He argued that other magicians had done similar things without trouble.
Dom has achieved many things in magic, including:

Personal Life
Dom Wood is married to Sandi Lee Hughes. She was a member of the pop band allSTARS*. They got married in 2005 and have two sons named Tommy and Sam. Richard McCourt, Dom's comedy partner, is the godfather to both of their children. Dom also has three brothers: Jim, Matt, and Tim. His brother Jim even appeared on an episode of Dick and Dom in da Bungalow.
Dom is a vegetarian, meaning he does not eat meat. He has also been diagnosed with dyslexia, which is a learning difference that affects reading. In 2007, Dom ran the Great North Run, which is a big charity running event. He went to Hylton and Exeter Cathedral schools. He was even at school with Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay.
