Ebon Herndon, known by his stage name E Reece, is an American rapper, songwriter, actor, and model. He became well-known in the mid-2000s. This happened after he signed a music deal with Kajmere Sounds in 2005.
His first album, A New Breed, came out in 2006. It featured popular songs like "Everything" and "Life Changes". After this album, E Reece went on a tour in late 2006 to share his music. In 2008, he toured with his band, "Core Elements." This tour helped promote his second album, L.I.S.n 2 This Live.In.Studio, which was released in November 2008. This album included singles such as "How We Do" and "Mic Check". In 2010, he released his third album, Concrete Steppin'.

About E Reece's Early Life
Ebon Herndon's father passed away when Ebon was nine years old. His love for music started when he was 12. At that age, he began learning to play the jazz saxophone. Some of his early music heroes included Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, and James Brown. He also looked up to hip hop groups like A Tribe Called Quest and EPMD. Ebon graduated with honors from Towson University. He earned a degree in Mass Communications from the university in Baltimore, Maryland.

Starting Out: 1999–2004
E Reece began his music career by freestyling with friends. He would perform at open mic nights in local places. One notable performance was with the famous rapper KRS-1. He also performed with BET’s former Rap City host Tigger in 1999. In 2003, E Reece appeared in an independent movie called "Claims". He released his first collection of songs, an EP called "FarEye Vision," in 2004. In May and June 2004, he was even featured in a Japanese hip hop magazine called Woffin.
Growing His Career: 2005–2007
In 2005, E Reece started his five-person band, "Core Elements." He began working on his first full album around mid-2005. In 2006, he released another EP titled Next Up. In July 2007, E Reece started his own company, "E Reece Music Group." Through this company, he released the single "Everything." Later that year, he released his first album, A New Breed. In 2007, he also released his second single, "Life Changes," and went on a tour to promote his new music.
New Label and Album: 2007–2009
In August 2008, E Reece and his band Core Elements performed at Temple Bar in Santa Monica, California. This performance helped promote his upcoming second album. He also filmed two music videos for his songs "How We Do" and "What U Need." In August 2008, he launched his own record label, "Elevated Mental Recordings." His second album, L.I.S.n 2 This Live.In.Studio, was released in Japan in November 2008. It then came out in the United States in January 2009. In 2009, E Reece released more singles from the album, including "Mic Check" and "Keepin It Movin'." He also went on the "E Reece & Core Elements Tour" to promote this album.
Third Album: 2009–2010
E Reece started recording songs for his third album in mid-2009. Later that year, he signed a new music deal with HiPNOTT Records. In December 2009, he released his first mixtape, "Art & Commerce: The Mixtape." In May 2010, the first single from his third album, "Fly Hi," was released. He also released his second mixtape, "The RE: Introduction Mixtape," in June 2010. A music video for "Fly Hi" was also filmed. In July 2010, E Reece's third studio album, Concrete Steppin', was released. He filmed a music video for his second single, "Confessions of a Dreamer," in August 2010. In December 2010, E Reece started a tour in Europe with another artist named MED.
New Duo: 2011–Present
In 2011, E Reece teamed up with music producer Theimagination. They formed a hip-hop duo called "T.iM.E." In October 2011, the duo released an extended play (EP) called "The T.iM.E is Now." This EP featured their single "Breakthrough."
E Reece's Modeling Career
Before his music career took off, E Reece also had success in modeling. In 1998, he was the first runner-up in Washington D.C.'s "Mr. Metropolitan" contest. He also walked the runway for fashion designers like Alvin King in Washington D.C. and New York City. He also modeled for Travis Winkey in Baltimore.
