Elizabeth Berrington (born 3 August 1970) is a talented English actress. She went to the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art to study acting. Many people know her for her roles in popular TV shows. These include Ruby Fry in Waterloo Road, Paula Kosh in Stella, and Dawn Stevenson in The Syndicate. She has also appeared in many other British TV series like Doctor Who, The Office, and Casualty.

Early TV Roles and Comedy
From 1996 to 1999, Elizabeth starred in the ITV comedy-drama My Wonderful Life. She acted alongside Emma Wray and Tony Robinson. In 1999, she played the famous French queen Marie Antoinette in Let Them Eat Cake. This show also featured popular comedians Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders.

Elizabeth has appeared in many films. She was in The Little Vampire. Later, she acted in Nanny McPhee with Emma Thompson. She also appeared in the film In Bruges alongside actors like Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes. In 1996, she was in the drama film Secrets & Lies.

In 2008 and 2009, Elizabeth played Mel in the TV series Moving Wallpaper. She also appeared in an episode of Poirot called "Cat Among the Pigeons." In 2009, she starred with Shirley Henderson in the ITV drama May Contain Nuts. Elizabeth played Ffion, a snobby suburban mother. She also played Nicola, a nurse, in the BBC Two comedy Psychoville.
From 2009 to 2011, she was a food technology teacher named Ruby Fry in the BBC TV series Waterloo Road. She left the show after two series. In 2011, she played "Auntie" in "The Doctor's Wife", an episode of series 6 of Doctor Who. From 2012 to 2013, she played Paula Kosh in the Sky One comedy series Stella. She came back for two more episodes in 2015.
In 2011, Elizabeth was in the BBC Christmas show Lapland as Paula. She played this role again in the six-part series Being Eileen, which started in February 2013. In 2014, she appeared in Cuckoo as Sandra. In 2016, Elizabeth was in "Hated in the Nation", an episode of the Netflix show Black Mirror.
