Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa (born 21 July 2006), known simply as Endrick, is a Brazilian professional footballer. He plays as a striker for the Spanish club Real Madrid and the Brazil national team. He is known for his powerful left-footed shots and incredible talent.

Who is Endrick?
Endrick was born in Taguatinga, Brazil, and grew up with one brother and two sisters. From a very young age, he loved football. His father, Douglas de Sousa Silva Ramos, also dreamed of being a professional footballer. Endrick started playing football when he was just four years old.
Early Life and Dreams
To help Endrick get noticed, his father would upload videos of his goals to YouTube. Endrick always wanted to become a professional footballer. He hoped to help his family, especially when they faced tough times. When he was eight, he even trained at a Real Madrid camp. He always looked up to Real Madrid players like Cristiano Ronaldo and other Brazilian stars such as Ronaldo, Vinícius Jr., Rodrygo, and Éder Militão.

Endrick's journey in football began with a lot of hard work and dedication. He quickly became known for his amazing skills on the field.
Rising Star at Palmeiras
Endrick almost joined São Paulo, but instead, he joined the Palmeiras youth team at age 11. Over the next five years, he scored an incredible 165 goals in 169 games for their youth teams. In 2022, he played in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, a big youth tournament. He scored eight goals in seven matches and was named the best player. He helped Palmeiras win their first title in this tournament. This made international media and big European clubs notice him.
Making His Mark at Palmeiras
Endrick made his first professional appearance for Palmeiras on 6 October 2022. He was only 16 years, two months, and 16 days old, making him the youngest player ever for the Palmeiras first team. He scored his first two goals on 25 October, helping his team win 3–1. This made him the second youngest goal scorer in Brazil's Série A history.
He then won his first trophy with the senior team, the league title, on 2 November. He scored his third goal in just seven games as Palmeiras secured their eleventh league title. At the end of the season, Endrick was voted the most promising player in the Série A. In October 2023, The Guardian newspaper named him one of the best young talents born in 2006 worldwide. He helped Palmeiras win their second league title in a row in December 2023. He finished that season with eleven goals.
Joining Real Madrid
On 15 December 2022, the famous Spanish club Real Madrid announced they had agreed to sign Endrick. He would join them in July 2024, when he turned 18. The exact transfer fee was not fully revealed, but it was reported to be a very large amount.
Endrick's Debut at Real Madrid
On 19 July 2024, Real Madrid confirmed Endrick had signed a six-year deal. He was officially introduced as a new player on 27 July at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Endrick made his debut on 25 August in a 3–0 win against Real Valladolid. He scored the third goal, becoming the youngest foreign player to score for Real Madrid in La Liga history. He was 18 years and 35 days old.
On 17 September, Endrick scored in his first UEFA Champions League game. He scored the final goal in a 3–1 win against VfB Stuttgart. This made him the youngest player to score for Real Madrid in the Champions League. He also became the youngest Brazilian to score in the competition, at 18 years and 58 days old.

Endrick has also played for his country, Brazil, at different levels.

Youth Teams and Senior Debut
In March 2022, Endrick was called up to the Brazilian national under-17 team. He played in the Montaigu Tournament in France. He scored five goals in four matches, including one against Argentina in the final. He was the top scorer and best player, helping Brazil win the tournament for the first time since 1984.
He was also chosen for Brazil's under-20 team in 2023. However, his club, Palmeiras, did not let him go because it clashed with their pre-season training. In 2024, Endrick played for the Brazil national under-23 team. They tried to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics but did not succeed.
Scoring for Brazil
Endrick was called up to the Brazil senior team for the first time on 6 November 2023. He became the youngest male player to get a senior call-up since Ronaldo in 1994. On his debut, he became the fourth youngest player ever to play for Brazil.
He scored his first goal for Brazil in a friendly game against England at Wembley Stadium on 23 March 2024. This made him the youngest player to score at Wembley for a club or country. Three days later, he scored his second goal for Brazil in a 3–3 draw against Spain. In May, he was selected to play in the 2024 Copa América.
Endrick's Life Off the Field
After scoring against England in March 2024, Endrick shared that he admired the late English football legend Bobby Charlton. His teammate Rodrygo later joked that the team started calling Endrick "Bobby" because of this. In September 2024, Endrick married his girlfriend, Gabriely Miranda. In November 2024, he became a Baptist Christian and was baptized in Madrid.
How Endrick Plays Football
Endrick is a left-footed forward with a very strong shot. Many people see him as one of Brazil's most exciting young football talents. He has even been compared to legendary Brazilian strikers like Ronaldo, Pelé, and Romário. However, Endrick himself has said he doesn't like being compared to these legends.
When asked about his playing style, Endrick said, "I'll always fight. I'll be persistent and try until the last minute I'm in the game. I never give up, I pressure defenders, I run more than anyone else on the pitch." His father has mentioned that Endrick is also inspired by Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
