General Isidoro Resquín is a city and district in the San Pedro department of Paraguay. It is named after Francisco Isidoro Resquín. The city was officially started in 1981 by a decision from President Alfredo Stroessner.
About 22,350 people live here. Most of them work in agriculture (farming) and trade. The city is separated from the Canindeyú department by the Jejuí Guazú River.

Geography of General Isidoro Resquín
General Isidoro Resquín shares borders with several other districts. To the north, it borders the Santa Rosa del Aguaray District. The river Aguaray Guazú separates them.
To the south, you'll find the districts of Guayaibí and Choré. The Jejuí Guazú River also acts as a border between these districts. To the west, it borders the district of Lima.

The main rivers in this area are branches of the Paraguay River. These include:
