This tour also went to Canada and ended in May 2011. When George returned to New York City, he became a member of Actors' Equity Association. This is a union for actors and stage managers.

In September 2011, George joined the Broadway revival of Godspell. A revival is a new production of an older show. This was his first time performing on Broadway. He played this role again in 2016 when the show was renamed Brooklyn Crush.

George also joined the cast of Here Lies Love in 2013. He was an understudy at first. An understudy learns a role and performs it if the main actor is unable to. In 2014, he became a regular member of the ensemble cast. This show closed in January 2015.
