What is Gigantosaurus About?
The show follows four young dinosaur friends as they explore their amazing world. They are always curious and learning new things! Their biggest adventure is often trying to learn about the mighty Gigantosaurus. He's the largest and toughest dinosaur around, but he's not the same as the real Giganotosaurus dinosaur.
Meet the Dinosaurs!
The show features a group of unique and lovable dinosaur characters.
Main Characters
- Mazu (voiced by Nahanni Mitchell) – She's a smart young Ankylosaurus. Mazu loves to study things and build cool inventions.
- Tiny (voiced by Áine Sunderland) – A playful young Triceratops. Tiny enjoys drawing pictures and telling funny jokes.
- Bill (voiced by Nicholas Holmes) – A shy young Brachiosaurus. Bill's favorite thing to do is eat!
- Rocky (voiced by Dylan Schombing) – A brave and energetic young Parasaurolophus. Rocky sometimes has trouble saying dinosaur names correctly. His head crest can even be used like a horn!
- Giganto (voiced by Vincent Tong) – The giant Giganotosaurus the show is named after. Even though he looks scary, Giganto often helps the four little dinosaurs on their adventures. He mostly communicates with growls and roars, but in one episode, the friends discover he can actually speak!
Other Friends and Family
- Hegan (voiced by Heather Doerksen) – A Pteranodon who can fly.
- Trey (voiced by Vincent Tong) – Tiny's older brother, a teen Triceratops.
- Archie (voiced by Brad Swaile) – A Archaeopteryx who can't fly.
- Rugo (voiced by Asia Mattu) – A Rugosodon who loves to eat a lot.
- Ignatius (voiced by Adam Kirschner) – A small Compsognathus.
- Ayati (voiced by Joanne Willson) – A very old Giraffatitan, who is 200 years old!
- Dilo (voiced by Brad Swaile) – A Dilophosaurus with a playful sense of humor.
- Marsh (voiced by Benjamin Jacobson) – A young Stegosaurus. He walks on all fours and is as big as adult stegosauruses, even though he's young. He also likes the smell of stinky flowers!
- Patchy (voiced by Michael Daingerfield) – A Pachycephalosaurus who can't see very well and has short arms.
- Dragonfly – A Meganeura who is Mazu's friend.
- Weird Fish - A group of Eusthenopteron fish who are friends with Bill.
- Dino Bees - A swarm of honeybees.
- Leon (voiced by Brenden Sunderland) - An Archelon (sea turtle) who joins in Season 2.
Dino Villains
- Cror and Totor (voiced by Shannon Chan-Kent and Samuel Vincent) – These two Velociraptor siblings love to cause trouble. Cror is the smart, green female, and Totor is the not-so-smart, red male.
- Termy (voiced by Jennifer Cameron) – A tricky Terminonatator who thinks she owns the lake. She often tries to take over the savannah. People sometimes mistake her for a Plesiosaurus.
- T-Rex (voiced by Alessandro Juliani) – A mean Tyrannosaurus rex who shows up in Season 2. He loves to show off and thinks he's better than Giganto.
