Greensboro village is in the southern part of Orleans County. It is part of the larger town of Greensboro. The village is close to the border of Hardwick, a town in Caledonia County. Another small community, Greensboro Bend, is to its southeast.
Caspian Lake and Waterways
The center of Greensboro village is right at the end of Caspian Lake. The village includes all the shoreline of this lake. Water from Caspian Lake flows south into Greensboro Brook. This brook then joins the Lamoille River, which flows west and eventually reaches Lake Champlain.

Greensboro is about 6 miles (10 km) northeast of Hardwick village. It is also about 17 miles (27 km) southwest of Barton. There are no major state highways that go directly through Greensboro village.
