Harmony is a town in Chautauqua County, New York, United States. In 2020, about 2,108 people lived there. The town is located on the southern border of the county, southwest of a larger city called Jamestown.

History of Harmony
People first started settling in the Harmony area around 1809. The town of Harmony was officially created in 1816. It was formed from a part of the nearby town of Chautauqua. Over time, the size of Harmony became smaller. This happened when new towns, like Busti and North Harmony, were created from its original land.
Famous People from Harmony
Harmony has been home to some notable people who achieved important things:
- J. Samuel Fowler was a former New York state senator.
- James H. McGraw was born in Harmony. He later founded the McGraw-Hill Publishing Company, a very well-known company.
- Loren B. Sessions served as a US congressman.
- Walter L. Sessions also served as a US congressman.

Communities and Places in Harmony
Harmony is made up of several smaller communities and interesting locations:
- Blockville – This is a small hamlet located near the northern border of the town. You can find it where County Road 35 and NY-474 meet.
- Brokenstraw Creek – This is a stream that starts on the western side of Harmony. It flows into the Allegheny River in Pennsylvania.
- Cherry Hill – Another hamlet located in the southeastern part of the town. It's found near the meeting point of County Roads 12 and 35.
- Kings Corners – This location is on the western border of the town. It is west of the village of Panama on County Road 10.
- Little Brokenstraw Creek – This is a smaller stream that flows south through the western side of Harmony. It eventually joins the larger Brokenstraw Creek in Pennsylvania.
- Niobe – A location in the southeastern part of the town, west of Cherry Hill on County Road 12. This small community was once called Grant Station by the Pennsylvania Railroad. A contest was held to give it a new name, and "Niobe" was chosen.
- North East Junction – A hamlet also located in the southeastern part of the town.
- Panama – This is a village located in the northwestern part of Harmony. It is situated along Route 474 and County Roads 10 and 33.
- Watts Flats – A hamlet found on the eastern side of the town, south of Blockville on County Road 35.
