Hubbard is a city in Ohio, United States. It is located in the southeastern part of Trumbull County, Ohio. Hubbard is part of the larger Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area. In 2020, about 7,636 people lived there. The city's motto is "Where Opportunity Begins."

History of Hubbard
Hubbard is named after Nehemiah Hubbard, Jr. He was an agent for the Connecticut Land Company. In 1801, Samuel Tylee became the first settler in the area. He moved there with his family. Many early settlers were farmers from New Jersey. They cleared the forests to grow crops.
A post office was opened in Hubbard in 1826. Until 1861, Hubbard was a small town. But then, the coal and iron industries grew quickly. This helped the town develop a lot. Hubbard officially became a village in 1868. Nathaniel Mitchell was its first mayor.
