Iberia is a small city located in the southeastern part of Miller County, Missouri, in the United States. According to the 2020 census, 703 people lived there.

History of Iberia
Iberia got its name from the Iberian Peninsula, a region in Europe. A post office has been open in Iberia since 1838.
A very important building in the city's history is the Iberia Academy and Junior College. This old school was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. This means it's recognized as a special place worth preserving.
Geography and Location
Iberia is found in the southeastern part of Miller County. It is located in the Ozarks, a beautiful highland region in central Missouri.
The city sits where two main roads meet: Route 17 and Route 42. Route 17 goes northwest about 15 miles to Tuscumbia, which is the county seat of Miller County. It also goes south about 11 miles to Crocker. Route 42 heads west about 18 miles to Lake of the Ozarks State Park and northeast about 22 miles to Vienna.
Iberia covers a total area of 0.88 square miles, and all of it is land. The city's water flows north into Rabbithead Creek. This creek then joins Tavern Creek, which eventually flows into the Osage River.

Iberia's Population in 2010
In 2010, the city of Iberia had 736 people living there. These people lived in 287 households. About 185 of these households were families.

The average age of people in Iberia was 31.4 years old. About 31.4% of the people were under 18. Also, 12.8% of the residents were 65 years old or older.
Education in Iberia
The Iberia R-V School District manages the schools in the city. It includes an elementary school, a junior high school, and a high school. The elementary and junior high schools are connected in two buildings. The high school mainly uses a separate annex building.
Iberia also has a public library. It is a part of the Heartland Regional Library System.
