Ina Wroldsen started her career as a singer, but she soon began writing songs for other artists. She became very successful as a songwriter and is known around the world for her amazing work. She has won several awards, like the BMI and ASCAP awards, which celebrate music creators. She has also been nominated for BRIT Awards and Spellemannprisen, which are big music awards.

Many famous singers have used her songs, including Shakira, Kylie Minogue, David Guetta, James Arthur, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Madison Beer, and Tinie Tempah.

Returning to Singing

Ina also started singing her own songs again. From 2013 to 2018, she was part of the duo Ask Embla and they released an album called Northern Lights in Norway in 2013. After that, she continued her solo singing career. She released songs like "Aliens (Her er jeg)" in 2014, "Rebels" in 2015, and "Lay It on Me" in 2016. "Lay It on Me" was a team-up with the Norwegian music group Broiler and became a big hit, reaching number 2 on the Norwegian music charts.

In 2015, famous DJ Calvin Harris and the group Disciples released Ina's song "How Deep Is Your Love" using her voice. This song became very popular worldwide.

In 2016, Ina was a judge on the Norwegian TV show Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne, where new singers compete. She has also sung on songs by other well-known DJs like Sigma, Steve Aoki, Jax Jones ("Breathe"), and Martin Solveig ("Places").

In June 2017, she signed a record deal with Simon Cowell's music company, Syco Music. Later that year, in October 2017, she released her song "Strongest". This song was very successful in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden, and it earned her a nomination for "Song of the Year" at the Spellemannprisen awards in 2019.

In August 2018, she released "Favela" with DJ Alok. This song featured her vocals and was inspired by a documentary about women in Latin America.

From 2021 to 2024, Ina was a coach on The Voice Norway, a singing competition show. Her team won the 2022 season with singer Jørgen Dahl Moe.
